Raquel Plank

Raquel Plank is a mother, poet, and author. She has published two children’s books, Clark Monkey and Little Bitty Jellyfish, a poetry collection, Love Letters To A Narcissist, and a creativity workbook, Managing My Muse. She is currently working on her debut novel.

Raquel began writing at a young age by keeping journals and writing poetry. Her passion for writing continued into adulthood through blogging and publishing for the Medium website. She finds her inspiration mainly through nature and her favorite pastime of people watching.

Raquel was born and raised in North Carolina, where much of her family still resides. After spending nearly ten years in Florida, she currently resides in a small town in the Appalachian mountains of Virginia with her supportive spouse, two clever children, three troublesome cats, one goofy dog, two stubborn horses, and a flock of messy ducks.
